We are upgrading our Cat6a connector to a new version!
This is the same product and type of connector as the old one but with some changes. The new v2 type consists of only two parts as the pictures show instead of 5 parts like the old one.
Instead of the plastic cover, cable ties and screen cap in separate parts, everything is now in one part and easier to assembly. We now have a spring wire type that puts pressure on the screen and wires more controlled and possibly better termination of the connector.
The product BC-11-004 will still be in some products such as BC-12-xxx outlets, DIN and IP products until warehouse is empty and/or new product has been replaced. We are sorry for the inconvenience and hope that the transition will go smoothly for our customers.
The termination tool BC-14-201 works on both the old and the new connector.
The DNV certificate TAE0000008 covers also the new connector.
