Good growth for Sohome in 2019

With DNV GL approved cables, connectors, panels and outlets Sohome serves the whole world within offshore and shipping for the Maritime LAN segment. We also notice an increase in our fiber optical and advising services.

Sohome has its own fiber lab where fiber optical preterminated cables are made after the customer's needs. The cables are terminated, tested and sertified. The warehouse probably contains the largest amount of fiber optic equipment in Western Norway.

The main portfolio of cables are Bergen Cabling Cat.6A and Cat.7 cables as well as AICI fiber optical cables in different versions (OS2,OM3,OM4) which are all DNV GL approved.

The export part of the business is increasing and Sohome delivers to Europe, Asia, Middle East and North America. At the same time the main part of the turnover is in Norway delivering to Norway's major shipyards and oil installations.

Sohome has partners representing the concept in Asia, USA and Canada and is a sub-supplier on many large projects around the world.
